Winnie is my 3 1/2-year-old ferret, and I’m raising funds to get her the veterinary care she needs as soon as possible. Lately, her belly has become enlarged and swollen, and she has been slowing down and acting unlike herself. Right now, we do not know exactly what is causing it. It could be an enlarged internal organ or fluid buildup, but we need to get her examined to find out what is wrong.

Winnie is not just a pet to me, she is family. Watching someone you love struggle when you do not have answers has been scary and heartbreaking. Every day that goes by without knowing what is happening weighs heavily on me, and I just want to get her help and give her the chance to feel better and be comfortable again.

The funds raised will go directly toward Winnie’s veterinary care, including her initial exam, diagnostic testing such as bloodwork or X-rays, medications, and any treatment the veterinarian recommends. If she needs additional procedures, surgery, or ongoing care, these donations will also help cover those unexpected costs. Our biggest goal is to avoid delaying care because of the expense and to give Winnie the best chance possible to feel better.
