Winnies Car was Stolen!

On Friday, January 20th, 2023, our good friend Isaias, also known as "Winnie" by many of his friends and co-workers, had his car stolen!!

He took it to; Ontario Mills Auto Spa Car Wash & Detail at 1050 Ontario Mills Dr, Ontario, CA 91764 for a full detail on his new pride & joy… Everything went normally, he paid $200.00, got a receipt & left the Car Wash attendant his keys. He was told it will be about 3 hours, they would call his cell . He walked back to work & awaited their call.

When the car wash called him to let him know his car was ready, he quickly went to go grab it with the expectation of a shiny new car. However, upon arrival, he was informed instead that his car was no longer there. Someone had stolen his car in the short time it took for him to walk over from Heroes Restaurant and Brewhouse Ontario (2 min walk) to pick it up. They didn’t have much to tell him other than dismiss him & tell him he could call the police. Ontario Police did come out & make a report that day. The carwash treated him very poorly, they refused to accept any fault for their mistake of leaving his keys in the car, and only advised that he get in touch with his insurance.

On top of that, not only did they not offer, but they REFUSED him the refund of the car detail he spent over $200 on! They just told him that they did their service…. The next day when he tried to go back to get more information from the ownership of the carwash he was given the "Run-around" They told him the owner Brian would be there at 10 am. So he went there, the owner was out of town….. He has been given no assistance and no help from this business and they have not responded to any of his pleas for support. The employees of the car wash said there is a new owner as of January 1st, 2023. They don’t know him or see him?

Inside the building, there is no Business license and no insurance Postings. There is no way to get a hold of anyone. After going back again the following day, he was able to convince the employees after them talking to their manager to refund him his $200.00. To date, He has not heard from the Car Wash Owner, Insurance Co., Manager, Ontario Police or anyone else that could help him with this terrible situation. It's like his car just vanished into thin air during their responsibility to watch it… How is that fair & Possible? Why would they leave the keys in an unattended car & who knew they were there?? Smells Fishy at best!!!

Winnie is a selfless hard-working individual and has only ever looked out for others. He has made a huge impact on those he has worked with at Roscoe’s Famous Deli in Chino Hills and Heroes Restaurant and Brewhouse Ontario. For this type of treatment to come down from a business that is trusted with hundreds of people's cars daily is unprofessional, to say the least. Who is to say this hasn’t happened to others at this location, and with ZERO accountability from the Car Wash owners??

We want to help Winnie in any way we can.

Winnie’s car is his main transportation to work and without reliable transportation, it has taken a toll on his life. This is a car he had JUST bought a few weeks prior with his hard-earned money. If there is anything you could spare to help him,I know the Heroes and Roscoe’s community is a very strong one and we all can come together now to help one of our own in his time of need, if anyone deserves it, it would be him.

Please Donate & Spread the word, and help in any way you can, he is looking into legal matters, but just not sure that is going to work out for him…
