Winnie the Pooch - Spinal Surgery

Winnie the Pooch is a very precious and very loved doggie from Navan in Co. Meath. Today (Monday November 25th) Winnie was admitted to Veterinary Specialists Ireland. Our girl was in a huge amount of pain which is now under control with very strong medication. Winnie will be having an MRI scan tomorrow morning (Tuesday November 26th) for suspected Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD) and is then expected to undergo emergency, life saving spinal surgery. This has come as a huge shock to our family and Winnie deteriorated very rapidly. We are all absolutely terrified and heartbroken. Her surgery will cost in excess of €5,500 but without it the prognosis, for our otherwise healthy and active Win, is very poor. Please help us save Winnie.
