On the morning of Tuesday, 22nd July, life changed in an instant. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunty and friend — Winnie Oliver — suffered a sudden and severe brain haemorrhage. She was rushed to hospital where she remains in critical care, fighting with everything she has to recover.

Winnie is the heart of her family — a vibrant, selfless woman who lights up every room with her warmth and humour. Her husband, Rhys, and their two beautiful boys, Cooper and Xavier, are now navigating a heartbreaking and uncertain road ahead.

As Winnie continues her fight, her family is facing mounting expenses. These include unknown future medical expenses as well as the everyday cost of living - mortgage, bills, groceries, and caring for two young children. This will have to be managed on a decreased income with Winnie in hospital for the foreseeable future and Rhys ideally by her side.

We are reaching out to you — friends, family, kind strangers — to help ease this burden so Rhys can focus on being there for Winnie and their boys without the crushing weight of financial stress.
