Hi my name is Liam, a junior tattoo artist in Melbourne.

After my long journey with brain cancer I was unwilling to get a pet as my future is uncertain and I did not feel it was fair. That was until I saw Winston. What was considered an “off cast” by the owner for not being like the others it was love at first sight. Winston is a beautiful 1 year old long hair merle pug with heterochromia.

Winston has unfortunately been diagnosed with bowel cancer. His surgery and radiation is close to the $15,000 mark (mostly the radiation). I have put in half, however, I have recently invested a lot of my savings into future businesses which has left me a little short.

Winston realistically should have a much longer life span than me once he’s fit and healthy and has a good home waiting for him in QLD when my run is over. I’d love for him to get that full life.

Winston has helped me a lot I’ve the last year with my recovery. Someone to come home to after looking after myself during treatment for 4 years. Someone to encourage me to leave the house and go for a walk. And the smiles be brings to local cafes and strangers out and about.

I do not like the idea of charity so for any donation I will be giving back.
