Hi all,
For those of you who don’t already know, Beth and Craig were the victims in a three-car/RV accident on Saturday, October 10th .
Beth was driving and had to stay in the hospital for 3 days due to her injuries. While she has since been released, she now has bruises on 50% of her body as well as heavy cuts and scrapes to the left side of her face.
Craig, thankfully, was discharged from the hospital the same day with scrapes, bruises and a broken shoulder. In true “Craig” fashion, he did not tell his children about his broken shoulder and they only learned of it by calling the hospital and talking with the nurses on staff.
Unfortunately, one of their dogs, Finnegan, did not make it. He sustained significant injuries from the crash, so our family made the difficult decision to put him to sleep to end his suffering. Our hearts are heavy…he will be dearly missed yet remembered for the joy he brought to the Nuccio household.
Their plan, as of now, is to regroup with family members so they can rest and heal as they sort out insurance claims and work to rebuild their life.
Their RV – “Winne” – was their home on wheels for the past two years. Unfortunately, insurance will not be able to cover all of the expenses that need replacing – their RV, car, and personal effects. We are humbly asking for donations to help Beth and Craig in this trying time. The money raised will go toward replacing personal items and covering what insurance will not towards a replacement RV.
