#Wings4Jasmine

It is with immense sadness, I have decided to reach out to all those whose lives have been touched by the beautiful Jasmine, to help ease the burden on her grief-stricken family and give her the send of she deserves.

As we are all aware, times are increasing difficult throughout the world, and with Kellie suffering from the incurable autoimmune disease, Multiple Sclerosis, it is imperative that her family practice the most stringent safety measures to ensure the safety of Kellie’s life.  As if these times aren’t stressful enough, it has come amidst the Moore family relocating, which has meant they can now only receive limited ‘hands on help’ from outside people, adding to their already immense pressure.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, 28th March, Jasmine Clair Knight lost her life whilst commuting to her job, she was just 18 years old.  This news has devastated the wider community especially her family, Kellie, Scott, Bethany, Abbie, Gracie and Ryan. Also, her recent long-term boyfriend Connor, her best friend and partner in crime Faith and of course her extended family.

Everyone that knew Jasmine had their own unique relationship, but what unites us all is that these relationships were as loving, caring and beautiful as they come. She probably never knew just how special a person she really was, as it was her nature to put other people’s sentiments before her own. Jasmine was an incredibly hard worker who recently finished her year 12 ATAR and was taking a year off before Uni to work with horses, which was her lifelong passion.  As Jasmine was an accomplished equestrian, she touched many people in the industry and I know she will be sorely missed in the equine family.

As mentioned above, Jasmine had a selfless, caring nature and would be devastated to know that her send-off would cause financial strain on her beloved family. The Moore family are already enduring the costs of relocation and of course the ongoing medical costs associated with Multiple Sclerosis, a funeral, understandably, was just not something they could have anticipated.

I realise this is an uncertain time for many of us and holding onto our finances is a natural reaction. However, if we could all come together and donate a little, it will make the world of difference to this wonderful family.

To help this page reach far and wide, we would be very grateful if you could action the following:

1) Donate to the page

2) Share the page with #Wings4Jasmine

3) Upload a pic of either Jasmine, yourself and Jasmine or a pic of your horses, as this was her passion and add #Wings4Jasmine

With all being said, I would like to finish with a quote that will no doubt echo the sentiments of many of you.

“When we give to those in need, we are not depleting our own wealth, but rather, making us richer”

Thank you for reading and deepest condolences to all who knew Jasmine.

Please note: Due to current isolation laws, Jasmines funeral will be very restrictive of  the numbers who can attend. We know you all loved Jasmine very much and the Moore family will organise a memorial service for all who wish to attend in due course. They thank you graciously for your understanding
