Windsor Locks Family Needs Help After Fire

Donation protected
Our hearts are broken for a dear Windsor Locks family who recently lost their home in a devastating house fire on June 20, 2026. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone. Seven family members were living in the home, including three children and a mother who is 30 weeks pregnant with a boy and due in the middle of August. By the grace of God, everyone survived, and for that we are incredibly thankful. However, they are now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from nothing.

The fire destroyed their clothing, furniture, personal belongings, household essentials, and cherished memories that can never be replaced. As they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives, we are asking for your support. Donations will help provide immediate necessities such as clothing, food, toiletries, diapers, baby items, temporary housing expenses, transportation needs, and other essentials as the family works toward recovery.

For those wishing to donate clothing or essentials directly, drop-off will be held at Living Waters Fellowship Church, 200 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Phone: [phone redacted]. Clothing sizes for each family member are listed below:

Kids
Oldest Daughter (8): Size 18 in Teen sizes in clothing, Size 8 shoes
Middle Son (6): Size 16 clothing, Size 3 shoes
Youngest Daughter (3): Size 4-5 clothing, Size 8 shoes, Size 6-7 diapers
Baby boy: due in August. Will need baby clothes and supplies.

Parents
Mom: Women’s size 2x-3X clothing, Maternity underwear (30 weeks pregnant, due in late August), Size 9 adult shoes
Dad: XL shirts and underwear, Size 36 waist, Size 10-10.5 shoes
Brother (living with them): XL in all clothing
Grandmother: nothing needed at this time

No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to give financially, we ask that you please keep this family in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can help this family take the first steps toward rebuilding their lives after this tragic loss.
