UPDATE:
Hi all, This is a message from the Windsor Locks family that recently lost their home in a fire. We are all set with clothing and shoe donations at this time. We are grateful for the abundance of blessings the Lord has given us through the churches, multiple communities, friends, immediate family, and work family. Gift cards are also still welcome. Thank you, everyone, for your generosity and support!
Our hearts are broken for a dear Windsor Locks family who recently lost their home in a devastating house fire on June 20, 2026. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone. Seven family members were living in the home, including three children and a mother who is 30 weeks pregnant with a boy and due in the middle of August. By the grace of God, everyone survived, and for that we are incredibly thankful. However, they are now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from nothing.
The fire destroyed their clothing, furniture, personal belongings, household essentials, and cherished memories that can never be replaced. As they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives, we are asking for your support. Donations will help provide immediate necessities such as clothing, food, toiletries, diapers, baby items, temporary housing expenses, transportation needs, and other essentials as the family works toward recovery.
For those wishing to donate clothing or essentials directly, drop-off will be held at Living Waters Fellowship Church, 200 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Phone: [phone redacted].
If you would like to donate toys and books. we kindly ask no Disney, unicorns, or mermaids. Thank you.
No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to give financially, we ask that you please keep this family in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can help this family take the first steps toward rebuilding their lives after this tragic loss.
