Wind in the Willows Annual Fund 2020
Tax deductible
Hello everyone,
I'm here to spread the word and bring support to the wonderful child development program that I've been blessed to be a part of for the last couple of years . Wind in the Willows is one of San Francisco's oldest and dearest preschools. We our proudly in our 46th year of service! We provide quality and a safe yet nurturing atmosphere to preschool and PreK students of all backgrounds. We pride ourselves on making a program a safe place for our community members.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many child care and preschool programs to the brink of significant financial strain; Wind in the Willows is no exception. Between the reduced capacity restrictions, costs of PPE, additional cleanings, and other additional operating expenses, we are spread thin and need the support of our community now more than ever. We refuse to take the easy route and cut any of the things that make us such a special place. We want to continue to offer our amazing teaching staff a livable wage and benefits, we want to continue offering our students a wide variety of enriching activities like music and art, and lastly we want to remain an affordable program for all.
Around this time of year, we normally send out letters to current and alumni families, as well as community supporters in effort to bring in donations. This is year has been one of many challenges, so one of our biggest goals was to make giving as effortless as possible.
No amount is too small! We know many all around the country are still grappling with the devastating affects of this pandemic; we truly appreciate all who consider giving to our cause.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
