Wind Beneath My Wings Memorial Scholarship
Donation protected
My husband and I are raising money for the Wind Beneath my Wings Memorial Scholarship fund in memory of our son, Jason Ingram. He was a student at Colonial Heights High School when he passed away in his senior year, 1993. Jason was a talented basketball and football player and was loved by so many.
The Wind Beneath My Wings scholarship was started about 20 years ago by a friend of Jason’s, Mark Smith, and his wife, Kim. This scholarship has provided thousands of dollars to many graduating seniors over the years.
Applicants of the scholarship are asked to write an essay to THREE people in their lives. The essays should express gratitude and appreciation to those that have displayed love, support, and encouragement in all areas of their life (those that have been “wind beneath their wings”).
We kindly ask for donations of any amount to assist several graduating seniors with college tuition, cost of books, etc.
My husband and I are overwhelmed with the support and generosity over the years by the community, friends, and family. We are more than honored to bless graduating seniors with the WBMW scholarship in memory of our son, Jason Ingram. Thank you in advance for your donation.
With much gratitude and love,
The Ingrams
