Winchester Family Paradise Fire fund

I have created this page asking kindly for any donations, as today it was confirmed that Karen and Dan lost their home in the Paradise Camp fires. Although they were able to get their 3 cats and some important keepsakes out and evacuate, now safe and staying with family, they have lost everything else.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kristen and I have known and been friends with Karen for well over 25 years. We danced together for most of our childhood/young adult life and share so many incredible memories together.

Dan and Karen are high school sweethearts and have a sweet beautiful daughter Allison(7 yrs). They had moved to Paradise from nearby Magalia to be closer to work and Allison’s wonderful school. Karen had recently joined a local dance studio, finding joy in not only performing herself again but sharing her talent by teaching dance classes. The Winchester’s are a kind, hardworking family who enjoy more than anything being silly, goofy, and always laughing especially at their costume and theme parties.  If you know Karen, she is always a voice of positivity, encouragement, and optimism and she and her family need those attributes from all of us now more than ever. 

Please help the Winchester family get back on their feet. Even the smallest contributions make a difference.

The funds collected will go directly to the family and they will be spent on items such as food, water, clothes, and other personal necessities to help rebuild their life.
