WINCHELSEA WILDLIFE SHELTER NEEDS OUR HELP!

Barb Reyland is the operator of Winchelsea Wildlife Shelter. She has been rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife for over a decade. Winchelsea Wildlife Shelter takes native animals needing rehabilitation from Surf Coast, Otways region, Colac, Winchelsea and all over the Geelong region. Every year the shelter helps hundreds of native animals return to the wild in full health.

Barb is an incredible person. She accepts wildlife at any time of the day or night. She travels long distances to rescue animals. She does everything in her power to give every individual animal the best chance at thriving and being released back in to the wild.

Operating a wildlife shelter is completely self funded. All the costs of food and housing the animals comes directly out of Barb’s pocket. The rising costs in fuel, some personal challenges and the increase of wildlife being received due to the extreme weather has taken its toll financially. Barb needs our help to keep the shelter operating.
