Wimbledon RFC needs YOU -Emergency COVID-19 appeal

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the 2019/2020 season was cut short and Wimbledon RFC has been closed since 16th March 2020. As yet, we have no date for when we will be in a position to reopen.
From September to April, our incredible facilities are used primarily by the wide range of inclusive and diverse teams at our club. From April to September, we make the most of our facilities to generate income to support the ongoing running of our community Club.
With the recent outbreak of Coronavirus and the directive from the Government that sports facilities and places of leisure are to remain closed, as well as placing a ban on mass gatherings, we are due to enter the 2020/2021 season with the majority of our sources of income cut off.
The Club has already taken a number of drastic measures to cut its outgoings during the period of closure as well as making plans to access Government Grants. There are, however, a number of immediately payable bills that without ordinary sources of income, the Club needs YOUR help to pay.
This appeal is one off to ensure that we are in the best possible place to restart rugby at Wimbledon as soon as we are able to and go back to our winning ways.
We recognise that times will be tough for many of you but we hope our members, supporters and friends will contribute if you can.
