Wilson Family’s Medical Relief

Hello, my name is Jake Gravedoni and I am raising funds for my nephew, sister, and brother in-law. They were involved in a boating incident on August 6, 2023 on the Chain O’Lakes in Fox Lake, IL.

My mom, sister, brother in-law and two nephews (5 and 3 years old) were out on the Chain when the boat’s engine blew up, engulfing the entire vessel in flames. Luckily they were able to escape the boat by jumping in the water. Some were on the boat longer than others and were more exposed to the flames. My youngest nephew, sister, and brother in-law are all suffering from 1st and 2nd degree burns on their bodies (mainly legs and arms). They are currently being treated in the hospital for their burns. It is not certain if skin grafts will be required or not but we should know more in a few days.

I wanted to start this GoFundMe to assist my sister and brother-in-law with their family’s medical expenses. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. Our only concern is to ensure everyone gets the required medical attention necessary to ensure a speedy recovery.
