Wilson and Blackett's new chimney

The chimney at the old house where Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett live has given way. Baram tried to fix things himself and almost fell off his ladder. I have persuaded them not to attempt any more repairs themselves and that their supporters would raise the money to pay for the repairs.

The quote for repairs is £800.

They have made a life time's commitment to saving our nation's history and deserve some comfort in their old age. We will also be employing a cleaning company to give their house a full commercial clean throughout before winter sets in and hope that we can smash this target to have something to go towards that as well.

As always, the hope that a lot of us can pay a little each rather than a little of us pay a lot and hopefully £10 each will be enough to get us there. A card will be given to them when the collection is complete listing all those who contributed - the more people with names on the list the more these great old men will feel the love as well as the relief of not having this bill to pay.
