A Letter of Praise and Appeal for Wilma Fox-Klozik

Wilma Fox has lived a extraordinary life serving her country, employers, family, friends and her God.  She was the go-to person at several Army facilities working for the commanders, as the Executive Secretary of the West Coast Division of the American Federation of Government Employees, as a caregiver for her mother and aunt,  as a partner in the Wailing Wall Ministry and as a loyal and faithful friend to all who were privileged to make her acquaintance.  Wilma has made charitable contributions throughout her life and has a church/school in Africa named in her honor. She was given a day by the mayor of Oakland upon her retirement and invited to a Presidential Inaugural Ball.

Wilma is in dire need of your praise and monetary assistance and has requested both for the first time in her life.

Wilma was stricken with pneumonia in mid February of 2018 and was hospitalized, admitted to a rehab center and now is in a retirement home.  Her caregivers have attempted to gain control of her freedom and assets.  Attempts have been made to isolate her by denying visitors, use of a telephone and her personal files.  Legal proceedings to declare her incompetent have been filed by her caregivers.  The court appointed attorney has stated that she is competent.

All who managed to see her including Wilma’s personal attorney and a Phd U of T nursing professor who have met with her have declared her completely competent and should not be treated and isolated as she is presently.  Legal papers are being prepared to secure her freedom and complete control of her life and finances.

A major contribution has been made by her friend to retain the present attorney but more will be required for care and legal expenses before Wilma’s struggle will be over.

This is where each of you may help this wonderful caring women.  We request a letter of praise and a donation, however small, be made to assist Wilma and her fight for independence.

Wilma and her friends offer our prayers to each of you and ask that you pray for Wilma as well.

May God bless you all and thank you for your time and effort.
