Willy’s Medical Treatment

Some of you all are already aware, my sister’s 3 year old boy, Willy, has Bell’s Palsy as a symptom of Lyme disease. Treatment for Lyme is not covered by ANY insurance due to incorrect CDC guidelines... They had to pay $600 out of pocket just for the very first doctor’s visit, not including tests, medicine, travel costs, etc. Willy also has a newborn brother, and right now their parents don’t know how they are going to pay bills, buy food, diapers, etc. after paying for a single visit to the Lyme specialist MD. If Willy doesn’t get the ongoing treatment that he needs within these first few weeks, the Lyme could easily turn into chronic and lifelong suffering for him. My sister and her husband and kids are good and decent people who have been hit with any parent’s worst nightmare. Our family is devastated by this.
