Willy Mulen’s Cancer Fund

The family is organizing this fund on behalf of Willy and Annette.

Willy Mulen and Annette DeFaria Desmond Mulen are going through an extremely devastating situation. Willy became suddenly ill and was hospitalized and diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer which has metastasized to his lymph nodes and bone. This came as a shock to them and to all who know and love them.

After owning a lawn and landscaping business for 23 years they had to close their business suddenly leaving them with no income. Willy can no longer do physical labor which has been his livelihood his entire life. They have instantly lost everything they have built over the years.

They are in need of immediate finances for medical expenses, living expenses and transportation as well as messages of love, prayers and encouragement.

Willy has recently begun emergency treatment through the hospital. Each week they seek grants to try to cover his care and decide if it will be approved. He is waiting to hear about his eligibility for disability and Medicaid which could take months.

They need to be relocated to affordable housing and need the finances to meet the deposit and first and last month rent while waiting for benefits.

Annette and Willy feel terrible to be in this situation and asking for any monetary support. They have always been the ones to open their home to those in need and give the last of their resources to help and serve others. Many people have gotten blessed because of the assistance of these kind people. We are asking that others could assist them now in their time of need.
