A Friend's Kind Gesture:

In response to the recent news that Will's stage 4 cancer has returned, we have been blessed by an incredible act of kindness. Our dear friend, Ryan, contacted us the week before Christmas with an idea for a Go Fund Me campaign and an offer to match every donation made to our cause, dollar for dollar, up to $6,000.

Making Ryan’s offer all the more incredible is the fact that he is going through a brutal fight with cancer of his own. In fact, we met Ryan in the hospital the first day he and Will started Chemotherapy, this past January. Ryan has children and grandchildren who love him. Regardless of whether you donate to our campaign, please keep Ryan in your prayers for healing, mobility, comfort, peace, and continued faith. His selflessness in light of everything he is facing is truly astounding.

The Backstory:

On December 18th 2022, just three months after our youngest daughter was born, Will went to urgent care for a sore neck and our lives were forever changed. Will, the rock of our family, was diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. The news was a shock to our family, catapulting us into a whirlwind of tests and treatments, all while striving to maintain a sense of normalcy for our three little ones, ages 5 and under.

After 6 months of treatment, Will's cancer appeared to be defeated, but those of you who have experience with cancer know it likes to come back. At the beginning of December 2023, almost a year after his initial diagnosis, we discovered the cancer had returned in his lymph nodes and tail bone. Now we are looking for alternative treatments and humbly praying that God will heal his body of this disease.

Looking Forward:

Cancer is expensive. Your support means more than we can express. Every donation helps us keep up with medical expenses, household bills, and the cost of seeking new and alternative treatments for Will. It's a lifeline that allows us to focus on his healing and our family's well-being.
