Willow is my beautiful 4 year old 3lbs kitty girl, on 4/17/22 when I was playing with her I noticed her jaw quivering and blood coming from her mouth. Not knowing what was wrong I opened her mouth and I noticed her gums were very red, inflamed and bleeding. We took her to the local emergency vet and they told us she has something called stomatitis, a chronic extremely painful oral condition, which basically means she’s allergic to all of her teeth due to the plaque that forms on them. They said that her case is very severe especially considering how young she is. The only way for Willow to live a somewhat comfortable life she will need to have all of her teeth removed. Since the amount needed is so much the emergency vet gave her a steroid and an Antibiotic shot that will last 6-8 weeks and 30 days of pain medicine until we are able to figure out what to do.
