Hello, everyone. Eric, here.

If you're seeing this GoFundMe, you very likely know who I am and how obsessively in love with my cat, Willow, I am. If you don't, I would say that this cat is about 50% of my life.

On about August 9th, she stopped eating food at all. After a brief series of vet visits, we discovered that she had a significant blockage in her intestines from something she had eaten (we're not entirely sure what it was) that, if left untreated, would have been lethal. Naturally, fixing this was expensive.

This GoFundMe is to help pay for and cushion the blow of the expenses of hospitalization and surgery that Willow needs. Currently, including all vet, hospitalization, and surgery bills, the total is just over $7,000. This number is expected to grow as Willow's recovery continues.

I am always hesitant to ask anyone for any sort of money or help, but please think about donating a few dollars so this sweet kitty can keep going.

I am overwhelmed by the amount of support donated by acquaintances and strangers alike in less than twelve hours. We have raised $2,435 at the time of writing, which approaches 75% of our set goal. In addition to the unbridled joy and relief that comes from this, I also feel an overflowing amount of pride in the fact that I am surrounded by such an amazing, selfless crowd. I don't even know what else to say.
