Welcome, and thank you for being here.
This fundraiser was created to help support the recovery of a very special little pony we are calling “Willow,” who is currently receiving care for laminitis — a painful hoof condition that requires careful treatment, ongoing management, proper nutrition, and time to heal.
Willow is local to the community where I live, and after becoming aware of her situation, I felt called to step forward and help in whatever ways I could. I am already personally involved alongside several other caring individuals who are contributing time, support, knowledge, and resources to help this little pony have the best possible chance at recovery.
Before continuing, we invite you to watch Willow’s short video story here:

Because privacy and dignity matter, the horse’s real identity and ownership are being respectfully kept anonymous. What matters most is that she receives the support and care needed to help her recover safely and comfortably.
This fundraiser is being coordinated through Voice for the Horse to help provide urgent and ongoing support over the next year — the normal timeline often required for healthy hoof regrowth and stabilization following founder.
The most immediate need right now is funding for:
• veterinary assessment and farm call
• radiographs (x-rays)
• diagnosis and stabilization
• pain management and early treatment support
As funds come in, they will continue helping support Willow’s recovery through:
• nutritional and mineral supplementation
• therapeutic hoof support
• bodywork and rehabilitation care
• specialized feed and recovery management
• ongoing comfort and wellness needs over the coming months
Several caring professionals have already stepped forward to donate services, time, and support to help Willow begin this journey. Their kindness has already made a meaningful difference.
Laminitis recovery is rarely quick. Hooves grow slowly, and true healing takes patience, consistency, thoughtful management, and compassionate care over time. But with proper support, horses can and do recover beautifully.
This fundraiser is not simply about veterinary care. It is about giving one small pony the opportunity to become comfortable again… to rest peacefully… to feel safe… and hopefully one day, to move freely and joyfully again.
Updates on Willow’s progress will be shared periodically through Voice for the Horse for those who would like to quietly follow her healing journey over the months ahead. Supporters are also welcome to connect with us through our newsletter and Facebook page for future updates and stories.
Every contribution truly matters. Sometimes healing begins through one large act of generosity. Sometimes it begins through many kind people each giving a little. Together, those acts of care can change the course of a life.
For businesses or community supporters wishing to contribute publicly, optional acknowledgements through Voice for the Horse platforms may also be available as a heartfelt thank you for helping support Willow’s recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read Willow’s story, for sharing it, and for caring about the wellbeing of a small pony who deserves the chance to heal.
With gratitude,
Yvonne
