I’m requesting 3 months of support ($3,000) + purchase of new (or gently used/refurbished) laptop equipment ($1,500).
I recently lost my job earlier this month. Shortly after, my laptop went caput. I rely on my computer heavily to do work + make money. I’m currently able to use public access computers to complete job applications and things, but it’s not ideal.
Ways you can support (beyond giving directly to the fund):

- Hire me to generate and/or edit written content, including grant proposals! I have about 1.5 years of grant writing experience and about $55,000.00 total in secured funding for small, BIPOC community-serving organizations.
- Hire me to lead a creative practice within your community! Also hire me for your odd jobs like yard work, gardening, and cleaning.
- Donate technology! I’m in the market for a MacBook or MacBook Pro with at least an i5 CPU core with 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM. A computer is an investment, and with these specs I’m sure this computer will stand the tests of time and future software updates.
- Driving lessons! No queer has all 5: a stable job , mentally well , love interest ♀️, driver’s license , and a home they love . Help me become the penultimate queer.
