In Memory Of Willie "Woodz" Ford

"In loving memory of Willie “Woodz” Ford who passed away very tragically and unexpectedly on February 22, 2024. Willie was a beloved son, brother, companion and friend, most of all a very good dedicated father to his son, Yasir. He was known for his kind heart and passion for seeing the good in others, most importantly for being a good father. HE LOVED HIS SON YASIR!!! Willie’s life was tragically snuffed from him by a heartless and senseless murderer and we are now left with a hole in our heart and his son is left without a father.

Although he faced some past struggles, Willie had become a better person and left the darkness of his past behind. He worked hard, changed his life around and had a renewed mind. Willie was determined and became extremely disciplined in creating a better life for himself, family and more importantly his son. Due to the sequence of events his family is left to carry the financial weight and also assist in the continued care of his son. Our dear Willie touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Many have reached out expressing condolences and asking what can be done to assist. The Ford Family is raising funds to cover funeral expenses and to assist with supporting Sherae as she continues supporting and caring for their son, Yasir.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated as we honor Willie’s Memory and come together as the village of support. Remaining funds will be deposited into a trust fund for Yasir.
