Over the weekend, Willie Wonka went from our happy boy to almost paralyzed from the waist down. He lost control of his bowels and slowly felt less pain but continued to worsen. I took him in twice over the weekend. Saturday, he was able to walk into our vet, and Monday, he was carried in a basket.

After going to our regular vet, they admitted us to the Sugar Land Vet Specialist. Willie was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). After our MRI, he went straight into a successful surgery. Our recovery process is going to be a long road with 6 months of rehabilitation and physical therapy, slowly regaining his ability to walk.

Anything helps and I just want my boy to live a long, healthy life. He is one of my children and my whole world.
