The time is almost here for my son Willie Nobles to re-enter our communities after spending 24 years of incarceration. Upon
re-entry Willie has every intention of continuing to be in control of his life and work towards his positive goals. Willie has Obtained his associates degree and has also obtained his construction training apprenticeship program certificate! Willie has helped the Incarcerated and their families through his leadership and is the president of the black prisoners caucus in Cedar Creek Correctional Center. He’s preparing to work with R3 Re-entry Services and will be working alongside many professional and hard-working Organizations.
Willie has a loving family and a strong community, and support system as he returns home. He’s Blessed to have a job waiting for him which is an excellent start!
Along with working and doing his best to take care of his family he will be advocating for those many incarcerated individuals that he had to leave behind in the prison system. Whatever donations he does not use from his re-entry, he will donate to the TEACH education and mentorship program in Clallam Bay Prison. This facility is where Willie started his betterment journey… With 8 months left until work release, Willie will need help with many things in order to restart after 24 years of incarceration.
He is going to need more items that have yet to be listed. Such things as clothes, shoes, undergarments, drivers license, work boots, work clothes, tools, phone, identifications, transportation, etc.... In order to start his new life! I thank God and all the many powerful organizations that helped Willie get to this opportunity for a second chance.
