We lost Willie Fajkus suddenly on August 8, 2026 at the age of 64. Willie Fajkus’ 45-plus years of soccer in the Chicago land area, as player, referee, and coach will leave a large hole in the game. The thousands of players he touched will always remember his great knowledge of the game and ability to get the most out of teams. He will be sorely missed by all for his contributions in soccer, but more importantly as a friend, brother, and uncle. Willie's presence, warm spirit and decades of friendships, will be remembered. In Willies honor we are starting a memorial fund in his name.

The Willie Fajkus Memorial fund will be used to support youth soccer programs in DuPage County, including high schools he had a major impact on.
