Willie Edwards' Funeral and Medical Fund

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wilson (“Willie”) Edwards, on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. Willie was a cherished husband, father, brother and son, remembered for his sense of humor, his love of sports and providing opportunities for youth through sports. 

 

The Edwards’ family has experienced significant financial hardship over the past few years due to unexpected and exorbitant medical bills incurred due to lengthy hospital stays and physical/occupational rehabilitation for both Willie and Shelly, which has eaten through their savings. We are urgently reaching out to our community, friends and family for support during this incredibly difficult and challenging time. 

 

We are hoping to quickly raise enough money to cover the cost of funeral expenses for Willie and to help pay for remaining medical expenses. 

 

We appreciate your consideration and sharing this with others who may be able to help. We want to give Willie the loving farewell he deserves, as well as help the family with pressing significant medical bills.
