Willie Campbell

William “Willie” Christopher Campbell, 37, of Bevier, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Willie was born in Phoenix, AZ on July 4, 1986, the son of Arnold “Art” and Debbie (Lingard) Cross. He was united in marriage to Nicci Bascus on May 10, 2014 in Macon. Willie loved anything with a motor and that followed him into his profession working at Oreily as well as the years at Lewis Body Shop. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and traveling with his wife finding fun road side attractions. Willies life was full of laughter and love, having the biggest heart of anyone you could ever meet he was the first to lend a hand. Although he never had any children him and his wife rescued animals and Willie could always be found holding a cat that fell in love with him. Falling in love with him was easy as he had a great zest for life and in infectious belly laugh and a big kind heart.

Willie is survived by his wife, Nicci of the home; his mother Debbie Cross of Macon; one brother, Christopher Lewis; one sister, Kylee Price; and other several other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold “Art” Cross and one sister, April Campbell. As well as his grandparents who were a huge influence to his life.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the New Addition of the Oakwood Cemetery in Bevier. Visitation will be begin Saturday morning at 10:00 am at the service, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
