Daina Bradley walked into the Social Security office that morning as a mother of two, with her own mother by her side, simply there to secure documents for her young son.

Moments later, everything changed.

The Oklahoma City Bombing took her mother… her son… her daughter… and left Daina trapped beneath the rubble as one of the last survivors awaiting rescue. In order to save her life, doctors were forced to perform a live amputation of her leg while she was still pinned beneath the debris.

But Daina’s story didn’t end there.

Before the explosion, she saw a man step away from a truck, the man who would later be identified as Timothy McVeigh. Her testimony became a critical piece in bringing justice to one of the most devastating acts of domestic terrorism in U.S. history.

And before that day… Daina was a dancer.

"Will I Dance Again?" is a powerful animated short film that brings her story to life not as a tragedy, but as a testament to resilience and courage.

Produced by the nonprofit Learn With Films, this project is part of a larger initiative to educate and inspire audiences through pivotal historical stories. The film is already gaining momentum, with an Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated talent, alongside rising voices in film and voice performance as part of the cast. It is directed by NAACP Award-nominated writer and director Princella Smith and is currently preparing for its film festival run.

This is a story the world needs to feel, remember, and carry forward.
