Williamwood Pipe Band is a former Boy's Brigade pipe band which has been running for over 70 years in the Southside of Glasgow. We hold weekly practices on Mondays and Thursdays in Williamwood Parish Church. We cater for all levels of experience for both competition and leisure, and regularly play at events across Scotland and Europe. We play in Grade 4A and are aiming to progress towards Grade 3B
With the running of a pipe band comes a great many expenses. From travel to competitions to replacement reeds and drum heads, it takes a lot to fund a band through a season
This is why we need your help! But don't worry we're not sitting back and expecting you to part with your hard earned for nothing. On the 28th of April band members will be taking on their latest challenge;
The Tour de Arran!
Following last year's Three Lochs Way Challenge we have decided to get on our bikes and cycle the 58 miles that make up one lap of the Isle of Arran
