Williams-Morck Family Relief Fund - Marshall Fire

Donation protected
Last December 30th, the lives of longtime Colorado natives and residents John, Mary (Morck), and daughter Angie Williams were changed forever by the devastating and unexpected Marshall Fire that tore through suburban Boulder County. It claimed their house along with many others, and today, in early February 2022, John and Mary still have a mortgage to pay every month. This challenge comes despite the loss of the house and necessary time spent away from work as they focus on rebuilding their lives.
The Williams-Morck family was fortunate enough to have evacuated early, but in doing so, they left behind their possessions from the previous 30+ years, during which time they had built a warm and loving home in Louisville. This house, as well as their clothes, personal computer, decades worth of family photos, artwork, and so much more was destroyed.
John and Mary adopted Angie as a young girl and have dedicated themselves to ensuring her growth and well-being; their love for her is without limits and their devotion is unparalleled. In the aftermath of the fire, they have continued to prioritize Angie’s safety and emotional comfort in this profound moment of transition, along with the help of Imagine!, a Boulder County private, nonprofit that administers a wide range of services to special needs youth and adults.
This journey they have been thrust into since the fire is proving to be far more difficult than the family could have imagined back in early January. The recovery process is lengthy and all-consuming, in addition to a housing shortage for rentals in the Boulder area.

Will you please help us in supporting the Williams-Morck Family in this difficult moment? All funds will go directly to the family.

A note from the organizer: As godparents to me and my twin siblings, John and Mary played an active role in our childhood. We spent countless holidays together, and Uncle John and  Aunt Meme, as we affectionately called them, never missed our birthdays. They showed us unconditional love and encouraged our interests. It is my hope that our communities can now repay their all-embracing kindness and support.
