Help the Williams Family Get To DC

Many of you have been on this journey with us as we have pursued the political photography arena. Most of you have prayed for us and watched the journey on our social media. 

I have been hired to serve as the photo editor for the Vice President's Office in Washington, DC at the White House. This is a YUUUUGGGGEEEE honor and blessing to be able to serve our country in this way.

While this is an amazing opportunity we are needing some help with moving expenses and basically help to live near the DC area. 

Let me just say that I believe in working hard for what you have and not relying on others to help you but I have been encouraged to allow my family and friends the opportunity to help us out as we take on moving our entire family across the country.

For those of you that may have stumbled on this gofundme or was invited by a friend let me tell you a little about myself and my family.

My name is Jonathan Williams and my wife is Kylie. We are the proud parents of 4 wonderful children (David-12, Judah 9, Hannah-7, Zoe-5). Kylie and I met near Tyler, Texas in 2003 at Youth With A Mission. We actually began our relationship shortly after we served on a team at America For Jesus in Washington, DC (that's a whole story in itself).  I have been in full-time ministry since I was 10 years old as a worship leader/musician. 

After Kylie and I got married in 2005 we moved to Yuma, AZ to be worship pastors at a church and later moved to Maricopa, AZ where we currently live to work for a ministry.

About 5 years ago my friend Lisa said...hey you should take some pictures, I think you'll be good at it. Since I was a worship leader I wasn't that interested in photography or thought I would be any good at it but I picked up the camera and it changed my life. She told me I should look into political photography. Wasn't sure what that meant but I said 'ok'. 

Fast forward about a year, my wife Kylie was at a Bible study and met a lady named Jamie who was the wife of our State Senator. She connected with her and told her about me and asked if her husband and I could talk. I asked Senator Steve Smith if I could follow him around and take photos. He said 'sure'. So I was able to go and photograph at the Arizona State Capitol often. He introduced me to many people in the state government and I was able to work for and photograph some of the leaders of our nation and state. During this time I was able to photograph the President and Vice President of the United States, Governor of Arizona, State Treasurer, US Senator Martha McSally, Dr. Kelli Ward, many congressmen.

I am extremely grateful and humbled at the opportunity or serving our country as the photo editor for the Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence.
