Williams Milburn's World Tour

Hello Folks! So while I am here at beautiful Nitnaht Lake, with my family, learning as much about kiteboarding as possible and while meeting new friends, I have discovered the opportunity of a lifetime.

My family came to Nitnaht Lake to learn to kiteboard so that we can travel the world while doing something active, fun, social and healthy. Almost everyone we meet in the wind sport world has been an amazing mentor and I am learning about many places and opportunity around the world and new skills.

Thanks to some amazing high school graduates, my family and I have met, we have learned about an amazing high school that will help me in my kitesurfing and educational journey.

World Class Kiteboard Academy is a private school based out of Washington State, USA. However the classes are held in some of the most amazing kite surf destinations. At these destination's academic classes are in the morning, along with some fitness and stretching and healthy foods. In the afternoon the winds pick up and students learn to be the best kiters they possibly can.

Also along the way students learn the local culture, help participate in the local economy, and, discovery new culinary experiences from local catering business's.

WCKA has a different destination itinerary every year and the school takes students to places on every continent. This year the school will be going to Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Spain and Western Africa.

The school also teaches video and photo editing and I am hoping to capture my travels on social media and blogs so my family, friends and donors like you can join me in my adventure.

My intended outcome in this high school endeavour is to get receive an amazing education so that I can be successful in my chosen career, help contribute to society, the economy, and ultimately, help and inspire people.

Needless to say this endeavour has a price tag and also takes time and hard work to apply and prepare for. My father is working extra shifts and my mother is busy all time, especially from our vacation spot, to help me prepare for my application to the school, which my the way is very soon. My departure date, if all goes well, would be 25-August-2024.

The school also may help financially with scholarship opportunities that they get from industry and private donors. I am, as we speak, applying for, not only the schools entry, but scholarships as well.

The purpose of this fund raiser is to help with additional costs that I am responsible for. These include school supplies, kite equipment, spending money and flights.

So far I have had amazing help from my parents, school alumni, and Elevation Kite School, who have given me amazing lessons, good deals on gear and always help me out.

Help me be the best person I can, watch me grow into a productive member of society and ultimately be able to help other people in need.
