Dear friends
At Williams Safe Shelter House we have over 350 rescue dogs and unexpected emergency vet bills are very difficult to cover.
Poor Chaz recently stopped eating and lost weight dramatically. He became very quiet and lethargic so unlike him. Upon investigation at the vets we discovered a serious intestinal blockage which needed urgent surgery or he would not make it.
He undertook a 3hr operation and thankfully his intestines were cleared and untangled. 10 days revovery at the vets followed to ensure everything went well and he could eat and go to the toilet properly.
Thankfully he made it and and left the vets having lost so much weight and strength he couldnt stand up. He literally became skin and bones and needed a careful feeding programme to build him back up again.
So I had no choice but to bring him home to recover so I could watch him and give him a peaceful place to rest. He is progressing to stand up now so hopefully on the road to a full recovery with perfect poos!
Now I just have to worry about settling the vet expenses and thank our wonderful vet for literally saving his life. He gave us all quite a fright!
Any donations to help Chaz and me would be appreciated. I cant do this alone.
Thank you. ❤️
