Williams Living Fund

Thank you in advance for reading this story.  As many of you know, Jason Williams recently and unexpectedly passed away from complications from the flu and resulting in cardiac arrest the week before Thanksgiving. Jason did not get to see his son turn eight on his recent birthday nor will he get see his daughter in her upcoming Christmas program.  Additionally, Lakisha and their children are preparing to spend their first Christmas without Jason.  The Williams family is loved by many and during a time of tragedy, we believe that we are called to help and show love especially to a family whose foundation has been built on love and serving others. There has been an outpouring of requests to help Lakisha and her two children and that is why we have created this page.

Lakisha and Jason have been together since college.  They were not only married but they were best friends and business partners as well.  Jason was the loving leader of their family and with his tragic passing, Lakisha is now solely responsible for raising their two children.  Jason and Lakisha were in the middle of starting a new company and Jason was their primary source of income.  Jason was also in the final stages of updating his life insurance; however his policy was not completed before he passed away.  Lakisha is just beginning to sort out how to live her life without her soul mate and best friend.  She also must determine how to financially provide for their children which is another purpose for this page.  

Tragedy does not stop life from moving forward.  The world keeps turning and responsibilities do not stop.  Our goal from this page is to assist Lakisha with living expenses for the next year.  The donations collected from this page will help Lakisha worry a little less about what lies ahead and so she can confidently begin her life without Jason.  Any funds raised over and above her living expenses will go into a college fund for their children.  Thank you again for reading their story and please consider donating to this amazing family.
