Hi friends!
I wanted to ask you for your help in raising $2,000 for a scholarship to a deserving Williams High School graduate this upcoming June.
I am from Williams California. Williams is a community of 5,000 hardworking , determined people. It is my home. Located 45 minutes north of Sacramento, it is an immigrant community where the majority of residents hail from Mexico. Immigrants, like my parents, who toil under the sun, working under punishing conditions day after day, year after year for decades, harvesting the fruit and vegetables at your table.
They have aspirations that their children and grandchildren will work jobs that pay higher wages and don't demand the physical intensity that drains them of their energy every day after work but have limited means of financially helping their children.
Please help us raise this money to a community that is in need of your help. This scholarship can be used to pursue a college-track education, embark on an entrepreneurial journey or seek an apprenticeship certification - there is no single path to success.
