William the Warrior ~ The road leading us HOME!

Just before 9am on Sept 1st, there was an explosion in our backyard shed and Bill was in it. He was severely burned over 59% of his body and taken by Life Star to the Burn Center. Then around 2:30am on Sept 2nd he had a massive heart attack where they found 99% blockage in his right coronary artery. Bills treatment and recovery has been anything but standard. The debridement process which is typically completed within the first 72 hours wasn’t able to be done for the first 12 days. There has been a laundry list of complications thrown at us, but through it all God has been faithful. We would not be where we are in the recovery process without Him, His love for us and all those standing with us in prayer for Bills complete restoration.

We still have a long road to full recovery and bringing Bill home. As you can imagine we have sustained a large financial hit with our household income being reduced to just mine and unforeseen medical and home restoration bills that aren’t fully covered by insurance.

If you know Bill, you know asking for help of any kind is difficult if not unheard of…. And for me it is a truly humbling.
