On Tuesday, February 9, 2021 we lost a great man, William J. Shank. Bill lost his battle to cancer at just 63 years old. He was a husband, father, mentor, and friend to so many. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Bridgit, their three boys Brian, Randy, and Brandon, their wives, and his 10 grandchildren. Bill and Bridgit were blessed to share 40 years together where they enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and traveling all around the world. Bill was a devoted father who provided the best life possible for his wife and boys. 

Although Bill's fight with cancer was short (6 weeks), he wanted to use his final time to glorify God. Through his positive attitude and his peace with God’s plan for his life, he was able to leave a positive impact on everyone that encountered him. We are all so proud of how he lived his life and how he attacked his battle. 

Being the strong provider that Bill was for his family, upon hearing the news of his cancer, one of his biggest concerns was the financial situation he would be leaving behind for his wife. Due to early life pre-existing health conditions, it left him unable to secure any life insurance money for Bridgit upon his passing. The news of his cancer came suddenly and ended just as fast, leaving a large hole in the hearts of his loved ones but also a hole in his wife's financial situation.
