William Rondon's Cancer Fund
On November 30th, 2016 our dear friend and brother William Rondon was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Shortly after, on December 5th he underwent an operation to remove his left testicle and have a prosthetic put in place.
In his own words: "I am NOT embarassed of this at all and I'm more than ready with the support of my family an friends to continue the next step in my fighting journey which will be tackling chemotherapy. I want this message to be a positive one in that we continue to make strides in not only cancer awareness but cancer research because lucky enough for me I caught it early. I still have some fighting left to do, but for anyone that knows me, they know cancer picked the wrong man to fight!"
He is taking on the next step in his battle, which is undergoing chemotherapy and preparing for stage two surgery.
All money raised will be sent to him and his family to help with the cost of these expensive procedures. As we all know, cancer and chemotherapy are complicated and arduous processes and have to be dealt with carefully.
We all want Will to be healthy and safe again as soon as possible, and we hope that he can return to school at Stony Brook University in future semesters. Testicular cancer surgery has a very high success rate, but this does not change the cost of the procedures and preventative measures required to stop the cancer from returning. Please help us raise as much money as we can to alleviate some of the financial burden placed on him and his family. Every donation helps, whether it's $5 or $500.
Sending love and strength your way Billy, keep fighting!
