Carolyn "Toi" Mitchell-Vinet lost her beloved eldest son William Mitchell, to an unspeakable crime. This crime involved Will and his best friend Jonathan both being inexplicably gunned down and murdered while playing video games at Jonathan's home on the evening of January 17th 2022. Will was just 36 years old. Not much else is known regarding the exact circumstances at this time. Please help us to mourn and to aid in the finances of the family of William Mitchell. Will was the epitome "teddy bear of a tuff guy". He had a huge heart and an even bigger personality. In recent years, Will had moved from from New Orleans to San Diego where he started a moving company. While in San Diego, he empathized in the plight of the homeless. Will provided diapers, food, and other goods for the downtrodden people he came across. He even went so far as to provide jobs for some of the people he encountered as movers for his business. Will became a source of wisdom for his friends when needed. He always had something positive and motivating to say when someone was down or in trouble. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and was a wonderful uncle to his nephew Dayton. Will had an immense love of body building and personal fitness in which he excelled. His family shared in his passion and often helped him prepare for competitions, all the while cheering him on. We humbly ask for funding to assist in burial costs, travel expenses, etc; as his immediate family reside in a multitude of states. Will is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his grandmother Judith Mitchell (the late Larry Mitchell), his mother Carolyn Mitchell-Vinet (Gary Vinet), his younger brother Adam Deville, his younger sister Deven Deville (Anthony Sissini) and his nephew Dayton. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Any donations and prayers are greatly appreciated as this loss is as unexpected as it is tragic. Thank you all so much for your support.
