On September 20, I had to tell my children that their father, William McCarty, was gone. It’s a message no mother wants to relay to her babies. The promises that will go unfulfilled, and the memories that will go unmade ripped my heart out as it broke theirs.
Will lost his battle with addiction, and his children are now beginning the long road to healing. The next logical step is a formal goodbye funeral and memorial service; so that these children can celebrate their love for their father and remember the good times they did have.
Unfortunately, Will neither had life insurance or savings that can cover his end of life expenses. As a single mother, my resources are limited as well.
Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated so that our children, ages 14, 12 and 11 can properly say goodbye to their father.
Thank you in advance for your help in the healing journey of these innocent children.
