Strength In Unity: Please Help William Heal

Hi there. My name is William, but my closest friends call me Duck. I live in Bristol, Rhode Island with my large dog Oliver. I am a kind soul with a big heart and am facing the fight of my life (literally).

Recently, I was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumor. Glioblastoma is a type of aggressive brain cancer characterized by rapid growth and a poor prognosis. Treatment options include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, all of which are very expensive even with insurance. Currently, there is no known cure.

The surgery was hard.

But the radiation and chemo may be harder as my doctors decided on an aggressive treatment regimen:

I cannot bring myself to consider the possibility of losing this fight. But I want to be honest by sharing that it is taking every ounce of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energy I can muster.

Treatment financial considerations drain this energy and make winning this fight tougher than it already is.
