William Earl Morris (Billy)’s Funeral

My childrens’ father was murdered on August 26th, 2025. He was shot to death in his own home by someone he considered a “friend.”

He has left behind two 4 year old boys, an Aunt, Uncles, and many friends who refer to him as family due to the amount of love and loyalty that he showed them.

During the process of trying to purchase his plot next to the rest of his family and get the burial process started, we were just informed that his life insurance policy WILL NOT PAY any expense related to burying him. His grandparents made this policy for him when he was a baby, and the policy has been paid up until this point. His mother was the beneficiary of this policy, and she passed away in May. Because the beneficiary has passed, they don’t have to pay for anything. They will hold the funds until Billy’s children turn 18, and those funds will be given to them.

WE. NEED. YOUR. HELP.

Any amount AT ALL will help us. He has been gone for a week now and this whole time we were under the impression that everything would be fine once the insurance kicked in. But now we have NOTHING.

I’m begging everyone who loved Billy or any of the people around him and in his family to PLEASE help us with any amount that you possibly can. Please help us lay Billy to rest.
