William Derek Wright Memorial Expenses

On the morning of Tuesday, August 25 my brother William Derek Wright was the victim of a homicide in Wichita Falls, TX. Our entire family rushed to the crime scene where we witnessed the investigation, news media, and police. It was a tragic and senseless event that's pain is indescribable . We witnessed him being picked up and wheeled to the coroner's van. The police gave us a minute with his body before taking him away to be examined in Dallas.
The following day the police arrested the suspect in Oklahoma. We learned the suspect had been arrested 20+ times and was currently on parole.
Our family has been devastated by this tragedy. He leaves behind his children, mother and step father, two brothers, two sisters, and many other family and friends who loved and cared deeply for him.
We are initiating this go fund me to cover the costs of memorial services and related expenses.
Derek's Celebration of Life: Saturday Sept 5th, 2020 from 12pm-3pm at Lakeview Church of God's fellowship hall in Iowa Park, TX.
