William “Bill” Kirkland, who passed away peacefully on the 9th of July 2025, was a man whose warmth, humor, and unbreakable spirit who lit up every room he entered. Despite facing many health challenges over the years—including a TIA stroke in 2014 and heart failure last year—Bill never let those hardships dim his vibrant personality. He was always quick with a joke, often making others laugh even in the most difficult moments, and his playful, full-of-life nature brought comfort and joy to everyone lucky enough to know him. As we prepare to say our goodbyes, we do so with hearts heavy in loss but full of gratitude for the love, laughter, and strength Bill shared so freely. In honour of his life and the battles he faced, we are raising donations for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
