William Courtney, its payback time... TEAM ECD!

If you’ve been to ECD in the last year or two you’ve probably noticed the fire truck sitting behind the start line or sometimes up on the top end (or sometimes both places on big race nights!). The guy that is almost always manning one of those trucks, ready to kick the lights on and race to our aide should we need it... needs our help.  A few nights ago he tossed a load of laundry in the dryer and went to bed, woken a few hours later by smoke inhalation and had to crawl past his flaming laundry room to get outside.  He’s now without home (damaged but not a total loss), with most of his worldly possessions damaged by either fire or smoke. He’s currently residing at the holt fire station and unable to cover the costs for what it takes to replace basic necessities... this is where we step in, let’s do our part and show him we’ve got his back like he’s got ours!
