William COCOLO Rivera Vasquez

It is no secret by now , that our fellow Friend and Camaro Brother has seen better days.  I am usually better at typing things like this , but this one I find difficult. Why? Because it's William , a Friend , a Brother , a giving and caring Man; a Man who at a ring of his cell, a text,  leaps at every opportunity to help others. In fact , he has made a career out of it . As a Veteran's Peer Support Specialist he has helped countless of Men & Women across the DFW. It is not my story to tell, the amount of personal friends among us that he helps and never seeking recognition.  
We all know William as the silly Salsa blaring, COCOLO driving, always smiling Puerto Rican man. What some may not know yet, is the size of his heart, the warmth in his smile, the sincerity in his handshake and embrace.
It is an opportunity today that I am presented with to try and gather you around this letter, touch your soul, and recreate a memory with in your hearts; a memory if ever you have shared a moment with our Friend William.

William has suffered two strokes and currently experiencing  partial paralysis ,and each day is a new beginning for him. He is undergoing therapy and is doing better each day. My wish is that together we rid him of some burden, and let him concentrate on his health and recovery.  

I ask you now, to join me and countless others in trying to collect a GOFUNDME for William. As you know , or might not be aware of, he is currently out of work aside from the countless bills that are coming in , there are other household needs that are required too. From bottled water , toiletries, cleaning supplies, socks . I will update this page with items that are needed , if and when a direct deposit isn't a possibility for you today.  Items can be dropped off at Karma Automotive  or Call me [phone redacted] tell me where to meet you and I will pick up said Items. Every item will be disclosed to The Vasquez Family  ( Husband : William- Wife: Ida ). 

If you prefer a Card with a few kind words, I can deliver those as well , also feel free to contact me for his address to mail it directly. Gift Card , also would be of great help for their needs.  
All Collections will be delivered to William once a week by myself or our Friend Naomi S. Perry .  
While we are all in the Spirit of Christmas, lets join together and create a Merry Christmas, more so create a  brighter New Year for William .

In ending , Prayer 

Loving God, I pray that you will comfort our friend William in his  suffering, lend skill to the hands of His  healers, and bless the means used for His cure. Give William such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when He is afraid, He may put His  whole trust in you; through our Savior Jesus Christ.
