William Campbell & Family

Donation protected
Lt. William Campbell was born with a passion to serve others, he is someone you can count on. William, is the son of two retired police officers, he is married with 4 children and has always pursued a career of service, security and community.   He is an honorable, selfless and compassionate man.  The type of person who is habitually generous, a man with an incredible sense of humor, intelligence and wit.

For 12 and a half years, Lt. Campbell served protecting Florida’s Power and light as well as SE Florida Power Plant (Turkey Point).

In January of this year an opportunity arose in another city and the Campbell’s relocated.  Shortly after starting his new position, William fell and was hurt while stepping out of a vehicle, this caused spinal cord compression trauma.  The fall damaged various discs leaving him in excruciating back pain, loss of feeling and functionality to his legs, he is unable to work, stand or sit for any length of time.

Since William was just commencing his new position and in a probationary period, he was without medical insurance, he is unable to cover the cost of treatment and surgery.  For the past 10 months William has exhausted all financial means still available to him, depleted his savings, credit, and has relied on assistance from his family to make-ends-meet.  He has no ability to continue to provide for his family as well as to continue his rehabilitation treatments in hopes he could walk again soon and return to work to provide for his family.  Although he is currently in therapy and is showing some improvement, it is unfortunately not enough to be cleared for work. He has applied for temporary disability but has had no luck thus far.  Since his wife works full-time, this has disqualified the family from other assistance programs.  Regrettably their current financial means are not enough to sustain their rent, food, basic needs and worse yet, future treatments which are crucial to his recovery.

William and his family have hope that things will get better.   William needs to continue rehabilitation therapy to get him to a position where Dr’s can determine if he will make a full recovery or need surgery.  We have estimated his expenses and medical treatments for the next 6 months without the option of surgery and have placed our goal at $20K of necessity.  Our close group of family and friends are asking for your assistance in helping this amazing family through one of the most difficult times of their lives.   Whether you know William or are a complete stranger, your contribution will help keep a roof over their heads and provide the medical treatments required to get him back on his feet to provide for his family again.  Rest assured that all your heart felt donations will be paid forward when this amazing family is back on their feet.  Thank you and bless you all!
